Description

Baburao Sadwelkar (1928-2000) was born in Sawantwadi , Maharashtra.

He got his Diploma in Painting, J.J. School of Art Bombay in 1952. He was a member of Bombay Group and participated in all the shows of this group till 1962. He was appointed as Art Director by Maharashtra Public Service Commission, Govt. of Maharashtra in 1976. and elected as a member of Board of Trustees, Prince of Wales Museum in 1990-1991.
